Our most extravagant room, the Ayres Suite was once Mrs. Henrietta Ayres Sheppard’s bedroom. Elegant & restful in watercolor shades of aqua & cream, this room features a king bed, fireplace, crystal chandelier, and original hand-painted ceiling. The en-suite bathroom features a freestanding claw foot tub and a two-person shower.

The Lee Suite

Steeped in southern elegance, the feature of the Lee Room is its original 19th century “half-tester” canopy queen bed. The adjacent sitting room features a large couch & armchairs for relaxing with a cup of tea and a great book.
